For Summer 2010, KIKS TYO partnered with 2 overseas artists for our seasonal KIKS TYO Artist Exclusive series. As always, this collectable, one-of-a-kind Tee series is a celebration of creativity with roots in the sneaker subculture or the the urban fabric from which it emerged.

KIKS TYO ARTIST SERIES - "MACEO EAGLE" TEE

The son of a of blues musician father and fine artist mother, Maceo has been involved in the arts since childhood. In the 1990's he emerged to prominence as a pioneer of Seattle graffiti. Later he moved to BROOKLYN New York, where he worked to establish the "3MORE" GALLERY. His works in art and design have been featured in publications such as MASS APPEAL, BLACK BOOK and WARP MAGAZINE MAGAZINE. His latest creative endeavors are as founding partner of the classic custom KINFOLK BICYLE company and the KINFOLK lounge in Tokyo's Nakameguro.

KIKS TYO GRAPHIKIKS EXCLUSIVE - Yukinori DEHARA TEE

Yukinori Dehara: Born in 1974 in Tochigi Prefecture; graduated from Osaka University of the Arts. Makes 300 figures and consumes 3000 liters of beer per year. He has worked with Nike, Tower Records and numerous other advertising campaigns as well as conducting solo-exhibits both in Japan and abroad 4â6 times a year. He is also active under the pseudonym "Kaneko Nanpei" & part of Menpe (Tokyo Men's Painter Association).
